I Wrote Myself Back Together — Silas Tee

I wrote myself back together.

There were nights after Gearford when Silas couldn't say any of it out loud. So he wrote it down by lamplight, one line at a time. The anger, the names, the things he'd never told anyone. He didn't fix himself all at once. He wrote his way back, and something green started growing out of the pages.
